Hi there! I'm a student in the master's programme Visual and Media Anthropology at the Free University of Berlin.
In 2019 I started researching shota, mainly by meeting people who like shota and talking to them about various aspects of shota. The first results of those encounters are presented in this dōjinshi. I would like to thank each and every research participant for contributing to this study!
There are two reaspns why I'm interested in shota:
First, I think other manga subcultures have already been studied quite thoroughly. In addition to BL and yaoi, there are studies on loli and even geikomi. however, little is known about shota and readers.
The second reason is that I'm a shotacon too! So let's get together to learn more about each other and thereby ourselves.
Since this is a dōjinshi, I've created a character, Tarō, who I hereby present to the dōjinshi world. I hope you like him!
If you want to participate in the shota study group, please get in touch.
